At CogitoPaper, we are committed to your complete satisfaction with every purchase of our writing instruments, notebooks, planners, and measurement tools. If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, we are here to help.

Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a return and refund, your item must be:

  • In its original, unused, and resalable condition.
  • In the original packaging, including all accessories, tags, and protective materials.
  • Accompanied by the original proof of purchase (order number or invoice).

Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date you received the item.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are defective or incorrect upon delivery:

  • Opened or used ink cartridges, refills, or pen nibs.
  • Personalized or monogrammed products.
  • Notebooks or planners with any markings or writing.
  • Opened packages of paper or measurement tools with removed seals.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Our Support Team: Please email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for the return. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions.
  2. Package Your Item Securely: Please repackage the item securely in its original packaging, if possible. Include the RMA number inside the package.
  3. Ship the Package: Send the package to the return address we provide. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches our warehouse.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email regarding the status of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment.
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after processing, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable for returns due to customer preference (e.g., change of mind).
  • For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, we will cover the cost of return shipping and provide a full refund, including original shipping charges.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please follow the return process to refund your original purchase and place a new order on our website.
